Southern Story
The Southern Illinoisan is reporting today on the National Park Service's addition of the Old Slave House to its National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom program.

EQUALITY — The Old Slave House near Equality is now a nationally recognized historic landmark, and a group of retired faculty and staff from Southern Illinois University Carbondale were the first group to tour the building under its new designation.
