LESSONS FOR FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST
n
Lesson 1. Trust Jesus Christ!
o

through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the
dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. If we have

with him in his resurrection. For we know that our old self was crucified with
him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer
be slaves to sin — because anyone who has died has been freed from sin. (John 6:4-7)
o
Yet to all who received him, to
those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— (John 1:12)

Lesson 2. Confess Jesus before men.

first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. (Romans 1:16)
o
“Whoever acknowledges me before men,
I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven." (Matthew 10:32)

Lesson 3. Follow example of Jesus,
get baptized.
o
But when they believed Philip as he

Lesson 4. Join local church.
